Vintage 1940s J Wiss & Sons 9-1/4" Pinking Shears Sewing Scissors Model C Made In USA w/Original Box, Hang Tag, and Product Information + Sewing Needle

 

Up for sale is a vintage pair of J. Wiss & Sons 9-1/4 inch pinking shears, Model C. These iconic sewing scissors feature the classic sawtooth blades that create a zigzag pattern to prevent fraying on fabric edges.

 

The shears are made of high-quality steel and have been hot drop-forged for superior strength and durability. The blades are nickel-plated and the handles are black. A special ball bearing pivot reduces friction, making cutting easier and extending the life of the shears.

CONDITION NOTE: Used, but in excellent condition for its age. This scissor does not have any deep scratches (just some light surface scratches from use), chipped paint or repairs that I can see (see pictures). The black paint surface is very nice (see pictures). Box has one tear on each section and someone's name on the bottom (see pictures). Includes the original box, hang tag, free Rip-Quick sewing needle, original metal wire used to hold it to the card, and product documentation.
