It is a 30 year anniversary poster of the original Star Trek TV Series show cast. It features the original cast with, Kirk, Spock, Bones, Sulu and the rest of the cast. These are the first years, some of the characters were dropped after that season. In the background is the Star Ship Enterprise. A Star Trek fan would love this poster for their collection. Although there are thousands of “Trek” posters, this one is a little scarcer. This is a lithograph labeled PTW761 LITHO IN U.S.A. and was stored rolled. Long out of production poster.

According to creator, Gene Roddenberry, Star Trek was like a “Wagon Train to the West action movie but in space and in the future.  The voyages of the Starship Enterprise first aired in 1966, starring William Shafter as Captain Kirk and Leonard Nimoy as Spock. The first interracial kiss on television was in an episode. The series was followed by eleven (11) “Star Trek” television series and thirteen (13) theater movies and countless toys, games, books and conventions. It has even led to people joining into space exploration programs.

CONDITION NOTE: Used, but in very good overall physical condition given its age. The color is still very nice. Poster does not appear to have any holes or stains that I can see, but the poster contains some tears along the edges (see pictures) as well as several white streak minor surface rub marks (see pictures with yellow arrows pointing to some of them - carefully check the larger pictures to see if there are others). This is an unframed poster (the Plexiglas is not included and was just being used to hold the poster flat for pictures). The poster will be carefully rolled up with protective blank paper and placed in a rigid mailing tube for shipping.
