Information about Michael Aram:

American artist Michael Aram studied art in New York in the late 1980's before traveling to India on an inspirational journey, where he discovered a rich metalworking tradition that inspired his focusing on handcrafted design. Michael Aram established a home and workshop in New Delhi, where he began crafting objects ranging from tableware to furniture, all of which reflect the artisan's hand. Each of Michael Aram's pieces are handmade, so no two items are exactly alike.

CONDITION NOTE: Used but in very good condition except for a small chip on the edge of the top surface of the marble (see pictures, but hard to see, it is where the arrow points on one of the pictures). Comes with original gift box, which is torn on one corner and has a surface tear along one of the long sides (see pictures).
