Biography of Irving Berlin:

Irving Berlin (1888-1989) was one of the most prolific and influential American composers and lyricists in history. Born in Russia, he immigrated to the United States as a child. Berlin wrote an estimated 1,500 songs, including the scores for 19 Broadway shows and 18 Hollywood films. His compositions include "White Christmas," "God Bless America," and "There's No Business Like Show Business." Berlin founded his own music publishing company, Irving Berlin, Inc., in 1919, which published this sheet music.
