CONDITION NOTE: Used, in good condition for a vintage book that is over 120 years old. This book not have visible wear, some bent corners, markings inside the front and back covers,  and a number of pages that were short from the publishing process, and binding is cracked on the contents page (see pictures). Short Biography of Edward Fitzgerald:

Edward Fitzgerald (1809-1883) was a British writer and poet, best known for his translations of the "Rubaiyat of Omar Khayyam." He was born in Bredfield, Suffolk, England, and had a keen interest in literature and languages from a young age. Fitzgerald's translation of Omar Khayyam's quatrains, originally published in 1859, is considered a masterpiece of English literature. His poetic and evocative interpretation introduced the Western world to the beauty of Persian poetry, making him a revered figure in literary history.
