This is a stunning vintage flow blue plate from the renowned English pottery maker Podmore, Walker & Co. (P.W. & Co.). The plate features the iconic "Washington Vase" pattern, a classic blue transferware design depicting an urn with floral motifs. The plate is crafted from high-quality "Pearl Stoneware," a type of refined earthenware known for its durability and beautiful glaze.

CONDITION NOTE: Used, but in excellent condition for its age. This plate does not have any chips, scratches (except for surface scratches from use), cracks, crazing, or repairs that I can see or feel (see pictures). The plate is a brilliant color. This plate does have pit marks which appears to be a common defect with these plates from this era (see pictures). Does not include the original box, packaging, or any related documentation.
